A few things Black people are serious about:

1. Don't put your purse on the floor
2. Playing Spades
3. Bringing vetted mac and cheese or potato salad to the cookout.
4. Washing raw meat before cooking
5. Kids NOT calling adults by their first name
6. Kids staying out of grown folks business
7. Not being your kid's little friend
8. Not touching a Black woman's hair
9. About a recently deceased person, "Who did the body?"
10. Turn off/ unplug electronics, stay away from water, and be quiet during a thunderstorm.
11. Not sitting on the furniture in the formal living room of grandma's house
12. Don't split the pole.
13. People who enter an establishment after you being served before you.
