Spirit Says, Spirit Does!

In this episode of Girl, You So Random, I had the pleasure of kicking the breeze with Comedienne Cedra “Ced Boogie” Walton from Brooklyn, currently living in Philly. Boogie hit the Los Angeles’ streets hard, developing long-term working relationships where she got her first taste of film production by working with Jerry Bruckheimer. In 2001, Boogie graduated with a dual degree in Liberal Arts and Film Production from the New School for Social Research where she co-produced her first independent feature film, “Chilltown,” and later produced, wrote and directed “Birthday Present,” her own indie short. In 2020, Boogie co-wrote “I Can’t With These !@#$%,” a comedy penned with some of her pals and a sister in mind. In 2021, Sean Conrad asked Boogie to be in “The Reminder,” the indie film he directed. She has been performing stand-up comedy since 2021.
