In this episode of Girl, You So Random, I had the pleasure of talking with Tashika Campbell. She began her Improv journey in 2017 in Baltimore. Originally from Charlotte, Tashika is a founding member of the award-winning troupe Cake Walk. In addition to performing, she is the lead coordinator of F.A.M Fest, the first Improv festival dedicated to centering and celebrating Black performers in the DMV, (D.C., Maryland and Virginia) area. Currently, Tashika works as an education consultant with Ubiquitii Educational Solutions, which uses SEL concepts to promote learning in students. She also serves as President of the Board of Directors with the Baltimore Improv Group theater and is the Diversity Advisor with Camp Improv Utopia. Tashika is a highly sought-after coach, teacher and workshop facilitator, and has previously worked with Bird City Improv, Queen City Improv, Black and Funny Festival and Comedy Sportz.
