On this episode, we sat down with Mary Kay Pivovarnik, Executive Director of CASA of Luzerne County. If you're not familiar, CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, and what they do is recruit, train, and support community volunteers to serve as the voice of abused and neglected children in the Luzerne County court system so that these children will be safe, secure, and given the opportunity to thrive. Follow along as Mary Kay filled us in on what brought her to head up such an impactful organization that serves the children of the 570, and where the future lies for this great group of volunteers!
