In this podcast, I will be discussing the importance of developing a positive relationship with your body. Having a good relationship with your body is the key to making healing happen. There are three main aspects to this relationship that I want to address: your thoughts about your body, paying attention to the sensations in your body, and interpreting what those sensations mean. It's important to understand that your thoughts about your body are significant and can create different energy states in the nervous system. Unfortunately, negative thoughts about the body are often perpetuated by societal pressures that benefit from people feeling bad about themselves. That's why I want to encourage you to intentionally decide what you want to think about your body and to focus on healing and feeling healthy.
