John 10 | Jesus is contrasting the insensitive religious and political leaders of His day to Himself. Shepherding was often used to describe any leadership over people. Jesus is the Good Shepherd and the only door we can enter to have fellowship with God. Many people pretend to shepherd people but have motives to hurt the sheep. Jesus is seeking to restore Israel to Himself and reach out to another flock (John 10:16).
