John 11 | Feeling. Feelings are indicators of the heart. Feelings drive us in many directions. Loss, deep friendships, and the deadly affects of living in a messed-up world, brought out real emotion in Jesus. Those things bring out real emotion in us too. That’s why He understands us so well (Hebrews 2:14-18). It’s not that God doesn’t care when I hurt, it’s that God understands my hurt and can walk with me in the hurt.
