Shell Ventures - Powering mobility and energy through the pandemic

This is the main part of the session with Geert van de Wouw who shared his perspectives from his 15 years in Shell Ventures investing in Energy, Power & Heat, Mobility, Hydrogen etc with its global investment strategy with team members across the world. We discussed the impact on Corporate Venturing, pandemic affect on key themes, ventures surviving and thriving, areas where people leaving ventures could invest their entrepreneurial drive. This was a fascinating discussion as I worked with various parts of Shell and Shell GameChanger featured as a case study in our book "Open Innovation in Action, How to be strategic in the search for new sources of value” Andrew Gaule 2006.
