#072 How Much Fun Are You Having Whilst Leading?

This is our second episode with Karim Doukir, Fresh Prince of Retail and what a guy! I cannot wait to share the chat we had all about games and leadership in Karim’s world of retail.

We had some great discussions – we go from games as systems to staying engaged within an organisation for 16 years. Everything is a game in Karim’s world and it’s a great place to explore.

I’ve a feeling this episode will divide some of you between those that support this approach to leadership and those that don’t. • How could you use gamification to increase employee engagement?
• What one idea for a game, ice breaker our something of your choosing, could you think of now, to open next week’s team meeting?
• What outcomes are you looking for that idea to achieve?
• How are you going to introduce it and review it with the team?
• How could you get the team involved next time?
