The Galveston Scottish Rite is the oldest Masonic Lodge in the State of Texas. Founded in 1867, shortly after the Civil War, it has experienced epidemics, devastating storms, and fires. Despite these challenges, it has continued to thrive, providing invaluable service to its members and the community.
