His earlier background in hospitality includes acting as the Director of Business and Leisure Marketing at Preferred Hotel Group for over two years and acting as a Vice President at Mobil Travel Guide for over six years. O’Flaherty was next President & CEO of Forbes Travel Guide for seven years before joining Microsoft where he has worked as a hospitality and travel division director for over nine years.
