In this episode, host Sean Lang is joined by Dr. Richard Benjamins as they review some of the opportunities and issues with using AI for social good. There are a myriad of ways that AI can be used for social good: improving quality of education, alleviating poverty, and aiding in the fight against climate change. In the push to use AI for social good, we need to increase collaboration between key industries and work together to understand the potential negative consequences of using AI in the drive to solve some of the world’s toughest problems.
