Episode 12: Fear of Failure/The Story of My First Ultramarathon

Have you ever been afraid to take on a big, scary dream because maybe you can't do it?? Welcome to the club! In this episode I talk about how going with the "safe" option may or may not be the best choice. I ended up running Coldwater Rumble 52K as my first ultramarathon because I was afraid I'd miss the cutoff for Mesquite Canyon 50k...which was originally going to be my first. I have ZERO regrets about running CW, but I talk in depth about the thought process behind my decision and how it affected my future goals.
