2 Samuel Chapters 1-3

In this episode, we read 2 Samuel chapters 1–3. David mourns the death of Saul and Jonathan with a heartfelt lament, honoring them despite their complicated history. Soon after, David is anointed king over Judah. Through it all, we see God’s hand guiding David’s rise as the rightful king. These chapters remind us of the importance of honoring others, even in hardship, and trusting God’s timing as His plans unfold.
