Spenser Boice is a producer, writer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist from Atlanta. He Collaborated on a song with Flo Rida, and his song “Foot of the Cross" was on the radio. He is one of my best friends and my musical mentor, so it was fitting for him to be the first guest on FILP.
We discuss our Cover of All Night by BROTHERS OSBORNE and how surprisingly hard it was for Spense to learn. We play a raunchy game of would you rather; then Spense teaches us, musicians, how to negotiate. We talk about Spense’s Fantasy Job without music and realize that "seeing the joy in children's faces isn't really worth it." Spense answers some questions from instagram, then we send you off with some of Spense's wise advice for aspiring producers or musicians.
My cohost Ron, Spense I are the frickin three amigos, and we had a blast recording this podcast, so I hope this podcast feels like you're hanging WITH us.
