“Who will manage your client's money?”  If you cannot answer this question right now, you need to stop what you are doing and listen to Lucas Foust’s Podcast on institutional plaintiffs.

Conservator, Guardian Ad Litem, or Trustee?  Although every state has different laws governing their appointment, one thing is certain, you probably need a fiduciary or institutional plaintiff to protect your client and help jurors realize the money they put in the verdict form will do some good.

An institutional plaintiff is normally a financial institution, trust officer or someone with a financial background.  Getting an institutional plaintiff involved in your case early and naming them in your lawsuit tells jurors the money will not be squandered.  Their verdict will matter and these resources will not go to waste.
