Steve Scariano was in high school when magazines like Circus, Creem, Phonograph and Rolling Stone were not only publishing articles on guitar gods and rock ’n roll frontmen, but offering record reviews of bands one might not hear on most FM stations of that era. Steve loved reading about and discovering new music, and before long, he was playing bass for bands in and around St. Louis and Champaign. Record albums are still very much a part of his life. He’s surrounded by thousands of them in his office, tucked away in the lower level of Euclid Records. And those who know his story, know that Steve Scariano…has led a rock ’n roll life.
