Poetry Reading Series: Ep 05

In this episode of our ‘Poetry Reading series’, we have two wonderful poets:

- American-based poet, Angela Flores reads her poem “An Ode to Hands”.

-South African based poet and photographer, Linathi Makanda reads her poem “Soft Women Like You”.

Angela Flores is a trans writer from California. Her work and interviews have appeared on Poets.org and The Normal School. She is currently the editorial assistant at Poetry magazine. 

Linathi Makanda is a writer and artist based in South Africa. Author of the poetry collection When No One Is Watching, she writes about being comfortable with discomfort.
