My first ultrasound to investigate why we aren’t pregnant yet in our second conception journey & why it felt so triggering even though I thought I was ‘fine’. To “we found a gestational sac’ to getting a beta to interpreting the results to mean something about me to “you aren’t pregnant”. It’s this exact meaning that kept me attached to the way I thought the way things ‘should’ be, but what if something better is trying to come through?

Mentally you can be at one place, but physically your body can be reacting to something totally different. I share my experience in how that happened getting a simple ultrasound and my response to getting that ultrasound. But can we also talk the meaning we give things from having bad first experiences for a sec? It is this one simple thing that has caused me to spiral emotionally more times than I would care to admit. But what if that meaning didn’t actually exist?
