EP 1: Listening to the call of wanting something different

There are moments in life we catch ourselves wanting something different. Sometimes it’s loud, sometimes we are so busy we hardly even hear it. But eventually, we are finding ourselves dissatisfied or unfulfilled with our results, leaving us wanting more. The question is, are you choosing to listen to it or are you ignoring it?

It took me 29 years to finally listen to that call. But for me, it got so loud I couldn’t ignore it anymore. The moment I realized how I felt, the thoughts I was thinking, the actions I was taking - it wasn’t something I’d wish for my daughter to experience growing up. To look through it from that lens changed EVERYTHING. 

This episode drops bombs of sexual abuse, seeking external validation, why I struggled so much to know what I wanted to do after high school, ‘over reacting’, stepping into motherhood & finally becoming clear on my north star.
