A creative rift between screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and series author Stephanie Meyer risks a major shake up just as work has begun on adapting the controversial and polarizing final novel. Hired to stick the landing is Oscar winner Bill Condon, a director Summit Entertainment had been seeking out since the franchise began. Condon brings the franchise back to its romantic roots and has a bold plan for tackling the novel’s bloodiest set piece.
