Title:  The Word became flesh
Introduction:
The Christmas story begins with two announcements by God through the Angel Gabriel to two related families. Both Mary a young virgin engaged to marry and Zacharias a Priest received the same message of a promise of a child under near impossible circumstances. Although both responded the same way, their heart attitudes were different. Zacharias responded in doubt and God made him mute until the promise was fulfilled but Mary responded in humility and acceptance of God's will and purpose and thus translated the promise of God into reality. These two people give us an example of how to not let our circumstances limit our ability to receive from God. In this Episode, I discuss how Mary and Zacharias offer us lessons on how to react to the promises of God under difficult circumstances. As usual, we will turn to the scriptures for insight and find answers to the questions on our minds as we continue our journey of faith in God through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.
