Part 5: God's Plan of Salvation

God who is omniscient had prepared a plan of salvation for humanity before He ever created man and placed him in the garden of Eden. We may never understand why God created Man though he knew Man will betray his trust and reject his love. We may attribute it to love, and as we study the plan of salvation, we will begin to understand the depth of God’s love for humanity. In this episode I discuss the outline of God’s plan of salvation as revealed in the bible.

Title: The Cross- God’s eternal message of love.

Introduction:
The Cross is a universally recognized symbol of Christianity and serves as a reminder of the pain, suffering and ultimate sacrifice which Jesus Christ made to atone for the sins of the world and bring salvation to humanity. In fact, on the Cross, God was punishing Himself in Jesus Christ to meet the demands of divine Justice for the penalty of death God imposed on Adam and Eve and their descendants. The Cross, therefore, is not only a place of shame, rejection, suffering, and death, but it is also where God demonstrated His love for humanity. While we may never fully comprehend the mystery of God’s love for humanity which drove Him to endure the death of the Cross, we by accepting it, and trading places with Him, position ourselves to benefit from that sacrifice. In the episodes in this Series, I will discuss what Jesus’s death on the Cross accomplished for humanity and how we may effectively benefit from it.
