8. Chris Kouba - Friends in Ministry

In today's episode, Jarrett sits down with his great friend, Chris Kouba. Chris serves as the Senior Pastor of United City Church in Humble, TX.

Pastor Chris Kouba has rejuvenated United City Church since taking the lead, driving record growth and community engagement through a renewed Gospel-centric vision. His inspiring leadership, bolstered by over two decades of ministry experience, helps foster a community of disciple-making disciples.

A Houston native and Baylor alumnus, Chris also holds degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before United City, he served alongside Pastor Jarrett at Prestonwood Baptist Church for 17 years.

Besides his pastoral duties, Chris serves on the board of Houston Christian University and as an adjunct professor for Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

A family man with a competitive streak, Chris is often found playing golf or tennis, coaching his kids' sports, or seeking out a challenge.
