It is important to plan where to meet in case of emergency to alleviate confusion and avoid disaster.  Memorize family phone numbers and make a list to keep in your emergency kit and near your telephone.  Your emergency kit should include a bag ready to go with your waterproof bags to protect valuable documents and copies of credit cards.  Prepare a kit if you plan to stay at home.

FBH Volunteers are needed to tutor or mentor elementary, middle-school, and high-school students in reading skills and help them complete homework assignments; teach ESL classes in reading, writing, listening, and speaking; tutor English speaking students in Spanish; and help Spanish-speaking students improve their Spanish.  Volunteers may also teach classes for citizenship, basic computer concepts, and financial literacy.
