Lyda, and many others know that the comfort and skills a dog can brings can significantly improve quality of life. Jerry informs us of unique K9 abilities such as smelling cancer, soothing anxiety, and even acting functionally the same as a cane! Jerry's story is very moving and has helped a large amount of veterans find some sort of peace through his program.
