Hey, Lovebugs! Welcome to our Mother’s Day episode where I am joined by my mother, Mama Marie, for an intimate mother-daughter chat.

My mother shares four valuable gems with us:

  • A storied lesson about testing the authenticity of men.

  • An explanation of two Mareisms that she is most known for with my audience.

  • A lesson in womanhood from her life and the impact of
    feminine wisdom is mine.

  • One lesson that girl-moms should be sure to teach their daughters.

My audience has been asking to hear from my mama since 2022, and today I have delivered! I coach often about mother-daughter relationships, so it is only fitting that I share a glimpse of me and my mama’s relationship
too. Last year, my Women’s History Month blog post, analyzing The Women of Brewster of Place, really hit home for my readers. I hope this show blesses you the same as well.

I realize that some people are sad or in a mood on this day, so while I create space for that in this episode, this show is fun and light-hearted.

***If you are mourning your mother today, I pray for peace and comfort over you during this time. If you have lost a child, currently trying to conceive one, or preserving your right to have the option at this time, my heart is with you today too. May today be well with you no matter what kind of mother you had, and I pray for your strength as a mother for any lost, gone, of hoped for child(ren).***

In honor of my mother, this episode is dedicated to my late baby brother, Joshua. Enjoy!
