Ro: În inima iernii, Carpații României păreau un tărâm fermecat, acoperit cu un covor alb de zăpadă.
En: In the heart of winter, the Carpații of România seemed like an enchanted land, covered with a white blanket of snow.

Ro: Vântul șoptea taine vechi între brazi, iar ninsorile continue păreau să ascundă ceva mai mult decât natura.
En: The wind whispered ancient secrets among the fir trees, and the continuous snowfall seemed to hide something more than nature.

Ro: Era Ajunul Crăciunului, o perioadă în care satele din vale se umpleau de colinde și lumini calde, dar Vasile și Elena se aflau mult deasupra aceluia colț idilic, călătorind prin munții înzăpeziți.
