Ro: Într-o dimineață senină de primăvară târzie, razele soarelui mângâiau orașul Curtea de Argeș.
En: On a clear late spring morning, the rays of the sun caressed the city of Curtea de Argeș.

Ro: Andrei se trezea devreme ca să-și îngrijească albinele.
En: Andrei was waking up early to take care of his bees.

Ro: Moștenise ferma de la tatăl său și își petrecea zilele printre stupi, ascultând zumzetul inconfundabil.
En: He had inherited the farm from his father and spent his days among the hives, listening to the unmistakable buzzing.

Ro: Andrei avea o dorință arzătoare.

Ro: Ajungând în fața tuturor, a simțit emoțiile năvalnice.
