Ro: Cerul era întunecat.

Ro: Sunete groase de tunet răsunau pe vale.
En: Deep sounds of thunder echoed through the valley.

Ro: Ioana mergea cu pași hotărâți prin Carpați.
En: Ioana walked with determined steps through the Carpați.

Ro: Era determinată să își ducă la bun sfârșit misiunea.
En: She was determined to fulfill her mission.

Ro: Bunica ei adorase aceste munți, iar Ioana trebuia să împrăștie cenușa ei aici, în locul preferat al bunicii.
En: Her grandmother had loved these mountains, and Ioana had to scatter her ashes here, in her grandmother's favorite place.
