Ro: Herăstrău Park strălucea sub razele blânde ale primăverii, într-o zi de 1 Mai plină de viață.
En: Herăstrău Park gleamed under the gentle rays of spring, on a lively 1st of May.

Ro: Ca un melanj de culori și arome, parcul era cel mai frumos loc din București, gata să întâmpine sărbătoarea Muncii.
En: Like a blend of colors and aromas, the park was the most beautiful place in București, ready to welcome the Labor Day celebration.

Ro: Iar Mihai știa asta.
En: And Mihai knew that.

Ro: Plănuise această zi de mult timp, dorind să-i ofere Elenei o amintire de neuitat.
En: He had planned this day for a long time, wanting to offer Elena an unforgettable memory.

Ro: Într-un colț liniștit, aproape de lac, Mihai și Elena își așezaseră pătura pentru picnic.
