Ro: Străzile Bucureștiului erau mai aglomerate ca niciodată.
En: The străzile of București were more crowded than ever.

Ro: Pe geamurile mici ale apartamentului modest fluturau lumini calde.
En: On the small windows of the modest apartment, warm lights flickered.

Ro: Afară era târziu, iar orașul începuse să se liniștească sub cerul de iarnă târzie.

Ro: Într-un colț al apartamentului, Andrei privea gânditor spre sora lui, Mirela.
