Ro: Pe un cer de vară senin, cu soarele strălucind cu putere peste Transfăgărășan, Ana și Radu porniră la drum.
En: On a clear summer sky, with the sun shining brightly over Transfăgărășan, Ana and Radu set off on the road.

Ro: Mașina lor mică se strecura printre curbele serpentine ca într-un dans amețitor.
En: Their small car weaved through the serpentine curves as if in a dizzying dance.

Ro: Ana cânta încet melodiile preferate, încercând să transmită entuziasmul ei spre Radu.
En: Ana sang softly her favorite songs, trying to pass her enthusiasm onto Radu.

Ro: Radu, îngrijorat, se uita la drumul ce se întindea înainte.
En: Radu, worried, looked at the road stretching ahead.

Ro: "Drumurile astea sunt periculoase," spuse el, încercând să-și acopere nervozitatea.
En: "These roads are dangerous," he said, trying to cover up his nervousness.

Ro: "Dar și frumoase," răspunse Ana cu un zâmbet larg, lăsând răcoarea vântului să-i fluture părul.
En: "But also beautiful," replied Ana with a wide smile, letting the cool wind play with her hair.

Ro: Pe măsură ce înaintau, priveliștile deveneau tot mai copleșitoare.
En: As they advanced, the views became more and more overwhelming.

Ro: Munții Făgăraș se ridicau maiestuos, îmbrăcați în păduri verzi și stânci abrupte.
En: The Făgăraș Mountains rose majestically, clothed in green forests and steep cliffs.

Ro: "E ca și cum am fi într-un tablou," zise Ana, întorcându-se spre Radu care, deși rezerva lui părea să slăbească, tot mai frământa marginea tăcută a volanului.
En: "It's like we're in a painting," said Ana, turning to Radu who, although his reserve seemed to weaken, still nervously gripped the silent edge of the steering wheel.

Ro: "Ana, fii atentă la curbele astea!" strigă el, inima bătând nebunește când un cotitură strânsă le testă reflexele.
En: "Ana, watch out for these curves!" he shouted, his heart pounding madly when a sharp turn tested their reflexes.

Ro: Ana simți cum mașina alunecă ușor spre marginea drumului, dar reuși să o redreseze la timp.
En: Ana felt the car slide slightly towards the edge of the road, but managed to straighten it just in time.

Ro: "Uf, a fost la limită..." zise ea, respirând adânc.
En: "Phew, that was close..." she said, taking a deep breath.

Ro: Cu inima mai liniștită, dar genunchii încă tremurând, Radu privi în jur.
En: With his heart calmer but his knees still shaking, Radu looked around.

Ro: "Uite, să ne oprim aici o clipă," sugeră el.
En: "Look, let's stop here for a moment," he suggested.

Ro: Au tras pe dreapta, și-au dat jos din mașină și s-au așezat pe o piatră mare, privind întinderea munților.
En: They pulled over, got out of the car, and sat on a large rock, looking at the expanse of mountains.

Ro: Ana zâmbi și-l prinse de mâna.
En: Ana smiled and took his hand.

Ro: "Mulțumesc că ai venit cu mine. Știu că nu e ușor."
En: "Thank you for coming with me. I know it's not easy."

Ro: Radu privi panorama impresionantă, amestecul tumultos de păduri și cer albastru.
En: Radu looked at the impressive panorama, the tumultuous mix of forests and blue sky.

Ro: "E frumos. Dacă nu veneam, aș fi ratat asta," recunoscu el, simțind cum frica se estompează, lăsând loc unui sentiment nou de admirație și libertate.
