Lt: Lėtas vėjas kuteno nuogus medžių šakas.
En: A gentle wind tickled the bare branches of the trees.

Lt: Kalnų Kryžių kalva tęsėsi iki pat horizonto.
En: The Hill of Kalnų Kryžių stretched all the way to the horizon.

Lt: Dovydas lėtai ėjo apsnigtu taku, šalčiu kaustydamas rankas.
En: Dovydas walked slowly along the snow-covered path, the cold numbing his hands.

Lt: Jo šalia, švelniai sniege palikdama savo žingsnius, ėjo Eglė.
En: Beside him, gently leaving her footprints in the snow, walked Eglė.

Lt: Ji tylėdama žiūrėjo į tūkstančius kryžių, ieškodama tinkamos vietos jų atneštai kryžiai.
