Lt: Gabija stovėjo prie trobos lango ir stebėjo, kaip pavasarinis vėjas švelniai gena pušų šakas.
En: Gabija stood by the cottage window, watching as the spring breeze gently swayed the pine branches.

Lt: Šioje troboje, įsispraudusioje į smėlinę Kuršių Nerijos pakrantę, buvo jauku ir ramu.
En: In this cottage, nestled into the sandy shores of the Kuršių Nerija, it was cozy and calm.

Lt: Jos mintims nebuvo ramu.
En: Her thoughts, however, were not calm.
