Story Transcript:

Lt: Rūta išbėgo į kiemą.
En: Rūta ran outside into the yard.

Lt: Saulė švietė, gėlės žydėjo, o paukščiai čiulbėjo.
En: The sun was shining, flowers were blooming, and birds were chirping.

Lt: Buvo pavasaris, artėjo Velykos.
En: It was spring, Easter was approaching.

Lt: Visa kaimynystė ruošėsi šventei.
En: The whole neighborhood was preparing for the festival.

Lt: Namai buvo papuošti kiaušiniais ir spalvotomis vėliavėlėmis.
En: Homes were decorated with eggs and colorful flags.

Lt: Rūta, vilkėdama triušio kostiumu, norėjo pasikrauti dekoracijas namo priekiui.
En: Rūta, dressed in a bunny costume, wanted to fetch the decorations for the front of the house.

Lt: "Ak!

Lt: Rūta sėdėjo ant laiptelių ir svarstė, ką daryti.
En: Rūta sat on the steps, considering what to do.

Lt: Staiga, iš kito kiemo atskriejo juokas.
En: Suddenly, laughter came from the other yard.

Lt: Tai buvo Marius.
En: It was Marius.

Lt: Jis stovėjo prie tvoros ir žiūrėjo į Rūtą su šypsena.
En: He was standing by the fence, smiling at Rūta.

Lt: "Ei, Rūta, ar tau nereikia pagalbos?
En: "Hey, Rūta, do you need help?"

Lt: " – paklausė Marius.

Lt: Rūta sužeidė savo pasididžiavimą, bet galiausiai atsikvėpė ir atsakė: "Taip, prašau, padėk man.

En: You'll climb in through the window," said Marius, placing the ladder against the wall, and Rūta bravely climbed up.
