Lt: Laboratorijoje tvyravo tyla, tik girdėjosi švelnus aparato murmesys.
En: In the laboratory, there was silence, broken only by the soft humming of an apparatus.

Lt: Ant stalo mirgėjo Kalėdinės lemputės, kurias meiliai pakabino Ruta.
En: Christmas lights, lovingly hung by Ruta, twinkled on the table.

Lt: Ji norėjo, kad jų darbo vieta kvepėtų šventėmis, net kai už lango spaudė ledinis žiemos šaltis.
En: She wanted their workplace to smell like the holidays, even when icy winter cold pressed against the windows.
