Lt: Ant kalvos, kur kryžiai stovėjo tarsi tylios sargybos žibintai, žiemą buvo tylu.
En: On the hill, where crosses stood like silent sentinel lanterns, it was quiet in the winter.

Lt: Sniegas padengė viską, šnabždėdamas savo šaltą paslaptį.
En: Snow covered everything, whispering its cold secret.

Lt: Rokas, Aldona ir Vaiva žingsniavo kartu, niūniai aplenkdami tuos, kurie atėjo čia ieškoti ramybės.
En: Rokas, Aldona, and Vaiva walked together, quietly passing those who came here seeking peace.
