Lt: Šventinė pasaka prasideda, kai sniegas tyliai dengia Kuršių nerijos kopas.

Lt: Eglė stovėjo vieniša, stebėdama, kaip bangos ramiai atsimuša į krantą, lyg vėstančios žieminės širdies dūžiai.

Lt: Ji jautėsi lyg détachée nuo savo šeimos per Naujųjų metų šventes.
