Lt: Saulėtą rytą, rudenio pradžioje, Aistis stovėjo prie savo mėlynos spintelės mokykloje.
En: On a sunny morning, at the beginning of autumn, Aistis stood by his blue locker at school.

Lt: Jam buvo dvylika metų, ir artėjantis mokslo metų pradžia kėlė daugybę jausmų.
En: He was twelve years old, and the approaching start of the school year brought a myriad of emotions.

Lt: Aistis jautė savyje nerimą.
En: Aistis felt anxious.

Lt: Vasara jam buvo rami – beveik visą laiką praleido vienas, giliai knygose pasinėręs.
