Lt: Trakai, žiema.
En: Trakai, winter.

Lt: Gediminas stovėjo ant snieguoto tilto.
En: Gediminas stood on the snowy bridge.

Lt: Jam buvo šaltis ir nosis nuolat bėgo.
En: He was cold, and his nose kept running.

Lt: Bet jo širdis degė noru.
En: But his heart was burning with desire.

Lt: Noriu nufotografuoti Trakų salos pilį, kai saulė leidžiasi, galvojo jis.
En: "I want to take a photograph of Trakai Island Castle at sunset," he thought.

Lt: “Gediminai, tu juk persišaldai!” – Rasa šūktelėjo nuo tilto pradžios.
En: "Gediminai, you’ll catch a cold!" Rasa called from the beginning of the bridge.

Lt: Ji šypsodamasi laikė termosą rankoje.
En: She was smiling, holding a thermos in her hand.
