Lv: Sniegs klusi nokrist uz lielās mājas jumta.
En: Snow quietly falls on the roof of the large house.

Lv: Logi mirdz siltā gaismā, un eglīte stūrī vēl joprojām ir rotāta ar krāsainām bumbiņām no jaunā gada svinībām.
En: The windows shimmer with warm light, and the Christmas tree in the corner is still adorned with colorful baubles from the New Year's celebrations.

Lv: Istaba smaržo pēc piparkūkām un silta ķimeņu maizes.
En: The room smells of gingerbread and warm caraway bread.

Lv: Jānis sēž pie lielā ēdamgalda, blakus Elīza lellē kruīzu ceļojumu somas.
En: Jānis sits at the large dining table, next to Elīza with a doll's cruise travel bags.

Lv: Viņa skatās uz brāli ar gaišu dzirksti acīs.
