Lv: Marta staigāja starp kioskiem, mēģinot aizmirst savu satraukumu.
En: Marta walked among the kiosks, trying to forget her anxiety.

Lv: Šodien bija viņas pirmā diena jaunajā skolā, un viņa bija ļoti nervoza.

Lv: Viss bija jauns un mazliet biedējošs.
En: Everything was new and slightly intimidating.

Lv: Viņai ļoti gribējās izveidot jaunas draudzības un atstāt labu pirmo iespaidu.

Lv: Viņš bija Martas vecs draugs no iepriekšējās pilsētas.
En: He was an old friend from her previous city.

Lv: Arī viņam bija šis tas prātā, bet viņš vienmēr atrada laiku viņai palīdzēt.
En: He had his own concerns too, but he always found time to help her.

Lv: “Cik saprotu, esi mazliet nemierīga par skolu,” Andris sacīja, pievienojoties Martai drūzmā.
En: "I understand you're a bit anxious about school," Andris said, joining Marta in the crowd.

Lv: “Vispār jā,” Marta atzina.
En: "Actually, yes," Marta admitted.

Lv: “Vai arī tu kādreiz jūties tā?
En: "Do you ever feel that way?"

Lv: ”Andris nodrebēja, domājot par sevi.
En: Andris shivered, thinking of himself.

Lv: “Jā, bet es zinu, ka tev viss izdosies.
En: "Yes, but I know you'll do great.

Lv: Esi tu pati.
En: Just be yourself.

Lv: Tas vienmēr ir vislabākais ceļš.
En: That's always the best way."

Lv: ”Kad viņi devās prom no tirgus, Marta sāka justies mierīgāka.
En: As they left the market, Marta began to feel calmer.

Lv: Šis mirklis tirgū viņai bija svarīgs - atpūta no domām, kas viņu satrauca.
En: This moment at the market was important to her—a break from the thoughts that worried her.

Lv: Vēlāk skolā Marta klusēja un vēroja jaunās klasesbiedrus.
En: Later at school, Marta remained quiet and observed her new classmates.

Lv: Viņi runāja un smējās, it kā jau sen cits citu pazītu.
En: They talked and laughed as if they had known each other for a long time.

Lv: Tas lika Martai justies vēl vairāk viensētā, bet tad viņa atcerējās Andra padomu.
En: This made Marta feel even more like an outsider, but then she remembered Andris's advice.

Lv: Kad atnāca atpūtas brīdis, Marta saņēmās.
En: When break time came, Marta gathered her courage.

Lv: Viņa piegāja pie mazākas grupiņas skolēnu.
En: She approached a smaller group of students.

Lv: “Sveiki!
En: "Hi!

Lv: Marta esmu.
En: I'm Marta.

Lv: Esmu tikko pārcēlusies,” viņa teica klusi.
En: I've just moved here," she said softly.
