Lv: Aukstā ziemas rītā Rīgas St. Pētera baznīcas tornis stāvēja augsts un majestātisks.
En: On a cold winter morning, the tower of Rīga’s St. Pēters Church stood tall and majestic.

Lv: Gaisā klusi virpuļoja sniega pārslas.
En: Snowflakes quietly swirled in the air.

Lv: Raimonds, ar savu milzīgo šalli ap kaklu, stāvēja pašā torņa augšā.
En: Raimonds, with his enormous scarf wrapped around his neck, stood at the very top of the tower.

Lv: Viņam līdzās bija tikai vējš un cerība uz savu lielo iespaidu uz Ingū.
En: Beside him, there was only the wind and the hope of making a big impression on Inga.
