Lv: Rīgas Centrāltirgū ziemas dienā bija daudz cilvēku.
En: On a winter day at the Rīgas Centrāltirgus, there were many people.

Lv: Gaiss bija auksts, abas kājas bieži slīdēja pa ledainām plāksnēm.
En: The air was cold, and both feet often slipped on the icy tiles.

Lv: Kārlis, vietējais fotogrāfs, staigāja starp pārdevējiem, cerot atrast kaut ko īpašu savam izstādes darbam.
En: Kārlis, a local photographer, walked among the vendors, hoping to find something special for his exhibition work.
