Fi: Lume teki valkoisen peitteen, joka loisti kilpaa talvisen auringon kanssa.
En: Snow created a white blanket that shone in competition with the winter sun.

Fi: Akseli, Mikko ja Pirjo astelivat varovasti järven jäällä, kirpakka tuuli leikkien heidän poskillaan.
En: Akseli, Mikko, and Pirjo walked cautiously on the frozen lake, the brisk wind playing on their cheeks.

En: He struck a match, and the small flame spread quickly.

En: Suddenly, the grill ignited and began to warm their chilly hands.

En: But then... it was as if nature's whisper turned into a shout.

En: The ice cracked loudly.

En: shouted Mikko, and all three rushed to the shore.
