Fi: Kevään valo paistaa kirkkaana Helsingin sairaalan odotushuoneeseen.
En: The spring light shines brightly into the waiting room of the Helsingin hospital.

Fi: Odotushuone on täynnä hiljaista jännitystä ja varovaisia keskusteluja.
En: The waiting room is filled with quiet tension and cautious conversations.

Fi: Kukkaruukut ikkunalaudoilla vihertävät ja muistuttavat lähestyvästä vapusta ja uudesta alusta.
En: The potted plants on the windowsills are green and remind one of the approaching vappu and a fresh start.

Fi: Eero istuu kovalla tuolilla hermostuksissaan, puristaen pientä muistikirjaa käsissään.
En: Eero sits on a hard chair, nervous, clutching a small notebook in his hands.

Fi: Hänen veljensä Veikko on juuri leikkaussalissa, ja Eero miettii, kuinka kaikki tulee sujumaan.
