Fi: Mika istui auton ratissa, ja Riikka katseli maisemaa auton ikkunasta.
En: Mika sat behind the wheel, and Riikka gazed at the scenery through the car window.

Fi: Asvaltti muuttui soratieksi, ja kaupungin äänet jäivät kauas taakse.
En: The asphalt turned into a gravel road, and the sounds of the city were left far behind.

Fi: He olivat matkalla mökille, keskelle Suomen kesää.
En: They were on their way to the cabin, in the middle of a Finnish summer.

Fi: Se oli pieni, punainen tupa järven rannalla, kaiken hälyn ja kiireen ulottumattomissa.
