Fi: Taivaanrannalla, Helsingin korkeimman pilvenpiirtäjän ylimmässä kerroksessa, Aino ja Tapio istuivat suuren lasi-ikkunan ääressä.
En: On the horizon, in the top floor of Helsinki's tallest skyscraper, Aino and Tapio sat by the large glass window.

Fi: Ulkona talvinen maisema hehkui lumesta ja pilviseltä taivaalta tihkui hiljaista valoa.
En: Outside, the winter landscape glowed with snow, and quiet light dripped from the overcast sky.

Fi: Se oli koko kaupungin korkein näköalapaikka, ja sieltä saattoi nähdä kaiken aina meren rannalle asti.
