Fi: Sakea lumisade peitti Helsingin keskustan rautatieaseman.
En: A thick snowfall covered the Helsinki city central train station.

Fi: Ilmassa oli uuden vuoden odotusta.
En: There was an air of anticipation for the New Year.

Fi: Ihmiset kiirehtivät junilleen, kantamukset täynnä lahjoja ja uuden vuoden tarvikkeita.
En: People hurried to their trains, carrying loads full of gifts and New Year supplies.

Fi: Keskellä hämmentävää vilskettä seisoi Aino.
